Business Outline
We develop, manufacture, and sell tissue culture media, including serum-free media used for research in regenerative medicine and immunotherapy. In particular, media for mesenchymal stem cells and immune system cells are widely used both in Japan and overseas. In addition, regarding the raw materials used for the culture medium, almost all of them meet the standards of biological raw materials under supervision of PMDA.
In addition, we established a joint venture with Ajinomoto Co., Inc., “Ajinomoto Kojin Bio Co., Ltd.” in 2019, which leads us to improve its quality further by building a system that can produce media used in clinical practice.
Our Vision
Nowadays there are a wide range of products and manufacturing facilities for culture medium related to regenerative medicine, however, valuable intellectual property in regard to culture medium is still slept in laboratories and universities.
We make the most of it and want to respond to their diverse needs of researchers and people from medical area by developing orginal products that doesn’t exist in the world now.
Microbiological Medium
Business Outline
We develop, manufacture and sell products related to microbiological testing, including microbiological testing media used for pathogen testing in clinical and food fields and quality testing in various fields. We also actively engage in joint research and OEM contracts, and provide products that meet customers’ needs and change in the market surrounding microbiological testing. Our products are often used in hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, inspection centers, etc., and contribute to health care in Japan and overseas.
Our Vision
In addition to plate, stamp and tube media for microbiological tests, we have endeavored to sell various products in response to diverse medical needs such as immunochromatography kits for rapid virus testing.
We will continue to provide products that meet the needs of the times for medical professionals and patients. Also, we will strive to further contribute to the medical field by expanding our manufacturing facilities and enhancing our manufacturing equipments, working on the development and manufacturing of countermeasure tools for infectious diseases now issued in the world.
Contract Cell Process
Business Outline
We have been offering contract cell process from medical institutions at a facility authorized to manufacture a specific cell processed product under the Act on Regenerative Safety Medicine. Based on the request from medical institutions that mainly carry out immunotherapy and stem cell therapy, we manufacture specific cell processed products under the supervision of clinical incubators.
In cooperation with our tissue culture business, we are striving to further improve our culture skill and develop new technology for new processing contracts.
Our Vision
Our aim is to contribute to the field of regenerative medicine for diseases that are currently difficult to treat by manufacturing products such as clinical products etc with fully equipped facilities.
Also in contract processing, we will provide even higher quality services by strengthening the facilities of specific cell processed products that meet to cusotmers’ requests, expanding contracted items, and training personnel.
