Product Explanation

In 1959, Eagle developed a synthetic medium composed of the minimum essential nutrients while studying the nutritional requirements of mouse L cells. This medium, known as Eagle’s Minimum Essential Medium (MEM), was derived from Eagle’s Basal Medium. Eagle MEM is widely used for the monolayer culture of various mammalian cells.
