Product Description

HBSS (Hanks’ Balanced Salt Solution) was developed by Hanks in 1976 as an improvement over conventional physiological saline. Based on D-PBS, HBSS contains sodium bicarbonate and D-glucose and is widely used in tissue culture and physiological studies. It helps maintain cellular metabolic activity during the transportation and pretreatment of tissues, organs, and cells.
