KBM ADSC-4 is a serum-free medium suitable for growing adipose-derived stem cells while maintaining their undifferentiation.

Note: The maintenance of undifferentiation was confirmed by the differentiation of cells cultured in this medium into fat, bone and cartilage, and by surface markers.

Product Features
・Xeno-free, Completely-serum-free and Chemically-defined medium
Avoids the risk of infection from ingredients derived from heterogeneous animals.
It is not affected by the difference between lots of serum since no serum is contained.
・Ready-to-use
No need to add supplements.
For primary cultures, serum may need to be added depending on the cell type.
・No phenol red
It is not affected by phenol red during fluorescent dyeing.
No estrogenic effect by phenol red.
・No need to coat the container
The cultivation cost and man-hour can be reduced.
・Maintain undifferentiated
Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC) can be cultured for a long period of time while maintaining their undifferentiation.
・Higher proliferation than serum-supplemented basal medium
